Job Card

A job card is a document used in businesses—especially in manufacturing, service, construction, and maintenance—to record all the details of a specific job or task.

It acts as both a work instruction and a tracking tool.

Key Details Usually on a Job Card:

Job number / ID – unique reference for tracking.

Customer details – who the job is for.

Job description – what needs to be done (e.g., repair, production, service).

Materials required – parts, raw materials, or consumables.

Labor details – workers assigned, hours worked.

Time tracking – start and finish times.

Costs – estimated vs. actual.

Approval/signatures – from supervisors or customers.

Purpose of a Job Card:

Provides clear instructions to workers.

Helps track progress and productivity.

Ensures proper costing and billing.

Acts as an audit record for completed work.

PFIM allows you to print the Jobcard with or without Stock Items details and also with or without Serial Numbers.

It will also print a list of Appointments on the JobCard.

The completed JobCard will contain the Customer feedback.
